This seems a very popular concept in fantasy, though I'm not personally on the bandwagon of any TE who has yet to do anything. It seems that unproven TE's are handed so much unearned faith, which would be unthinkable at any other position. But diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks! Go with your gut.

Davis got sat last week for a handful of blown coverages. They (as in Redskins coaching staff) already don't like him based on the 1 year deal he was given and his off field issues. The Shanahan's don't just hand over playing time. Their players (rookies especially), have to earn it. When Reed came in, he did his job and made plays. The team is begging for a clear #2 to step up behind Garçon. Paulson, Hankerson, and Moss clearly haven't been the answer. He's been getting more targets and increasing playing time. Davis is now mysteriously questionable after a Friday practice. So yes, based off of my evaluations and data available if my gut says to go with Reed if Fred Davis sits, then I will go with it.
