Week 13 of fantasy hoops is upon us and it happens to be a time of great consequence. A number of quality fantasy assets – like Rajon Rondo and Marc Gasol – are shaping back into form post-injury while many others – like Gordon Hayward – are on the horizon. Going forward, managers must not only monitor the weekly NBA injury report but weigh whether their fantasy hoops players are worth putting on the trading block if they just can’t get over the injury hump.

Gordon Hayward (hip) – After a slow start to the year, Hayward has rounded out into one of the best all-around threats at the small forward/shooting guard spot. Fantasy owners who have had to deal with the loss of his scoring, assists, rebounds, steals, ad infinitum, for five games now can breathe easier. The Jazz is very likely for tomorrow’s showdown.

Kemba Walker (ankle) – Two steps forward, one step backward has been the motion the Bobcats have been plagued with all season. Every time it appears they have their business figured out, someone gets injured or they go through an inexpiable bout of losses. The latest setback will keep Walker out for two weeks.

Nikola Vucevic (concussion) – That’s Day No. 8 the bruising big man will miss with a nagging concussion. Sources state that he won’t play tomorrow against the Nets and could miss more time given his recent bout with concussions and other injuries as well as the sad state of Orlando’s record. Glen Davis‘ production should continue to see a nice uptick.

Tony Parker (shin) – Preventive measures make sense for basketball coaches but they’re a dagger dipped in cyanide for fantasy basketball owners. Parker missed Sunday’s play against the Bucks due to preventive measures on his ailing shin. He shouldn’t miss any more time, however.

Terrence Jones (thigh) – Jones was just about a week back into being at peak form when the nasty injury bug struck. It’s unclear how serious his thigh predicament is and whether he’ll miss any time. Given the Rockets play Conference rival Blazers tonight, though, Jones might just have to power through the hurt.

Darren Collison (toe) – An unreported toe injury stood to derail the Clippers’ solid play without CP3 except that Collison was able to play 31 minutes today despite the issue. The game was against Detroit, who isn’t a division rival or a league powerhouse, so it stands to reason that Collison will simply recover on the court.

Deron Williams (ankle) – Sell as high as you can at this point.

Randy Foye (illness) – As XN Sports’ Nick Raducanu points out, Foye has been one of the best source of three-pointers as of late and it’s one of the few reasons why he’s been climbing our player charts. He’s highly probable to play Thursday so have at him if he’s on your waiver wire.

Trevor Booker (ankle) – Booker has been a nice quiet provider of rebounds and field-goal percentages over the course of the season. If you’re using him in deep leagues, however, he might be worth dropping for the week as he recovers from a sprained ankle. Check our waiver wire for quality subs.
