On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.5 or higher. Anything above 2.5 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

Value Plays

Guard

Ramon Sessions, CHA ($11,188)

With Kemba Walker out, Ramon Sessions is the guy for the Bobcats. Walker is unlikely to play tonight, which makes Sessions a good play against the Phoenix Suns who are 18th in the NBA in terms of defense. Sessions only needs to get 25 fantasy points to reach good value, and he has surpassed that in each of his last two games.

Forward

Josh Smith, DET ($13,913)

Enter the Philadephia 76ers, which seemingly is the most effective strategy in daily fantasy basketball. Whoever faces the Sixers each night seems to always be in the running for the highest fantasy output. Tonight, one of these players is Josh Smith. Smith is the best offensive player on the Pistons roster, and the best value option in fantasy at forward tonight. Last time Smith took on the Sixers, he accrued 55.25 fantasy points. which included 15 missed shots. Chances are his shooting is better tonight, and if he comes close to that production again, he will be the best value on DraftStreet at just under $14K.

Center

Andre Drummond, DET ($15,960)

As mentioned above, the Sixers are almost a “can’t miss” strategy in daily fantasy basketball. Especially when it comes to big men. Andre Drummond is averaging just over 30 fantasy points in the last 15 days, and that number should increase after a date with the Sixers tonight. Philadelphia is among the league’s worst in every defensive category, and Andre Drummond will be unstoppable in the paint AND on the boards tonight. The Sixers rebound percentage is 48.7 percent, good for 22nd in the league. Drummond is a rebounding machine at over 12.7 per game on the season, and he is averaging just under 14 per game in his last four. There aren’t many good options at center, so make Drummond yours.

Optimized Lineup

G – Ramon Sessions CHA ($11,188)

G – Lance Stephenson IND ($15,150)
