On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

Tonight in the NBA, there is just a two-game slate tonight. Get your lineups in as soon as possible. With limited choices, there is a higher chance of picking the better players.

Value Plays

Guard

Danny Green, SA ($7,305)

Green has played in two games since his return, and has only made eight of his 23 shots. But he has accrued 19.75 and 30.75 fantasy points. Either output is incredible value for $7.3K. The Spurs face the Brooklyn Nets tonight, and Green is a good option again. In just a two game slate, you will be hard-pressed to find someone who gets the minutes and production Green does for a low price of $7.3K. Tony Parker will miss tonight’s game as well, so the Spurs’ other guards are good plays as well.

Forward

Boris Diaw, SA ($9,732)

There are not many forwards worth rostering tonight on DraftStreet, but you have to choose three at minimum. Boris Diaw is the best bet in terms of value because the Spurs play for the second time in two nights. Chances are Tim Duncan will get more rest than normal, which bodes well for Diaw’s minutes. At just under $10K, Diaw needs around 23 fantasy points for good value. If Duncan sits or plays small minutes, Diaw could reach that value. Coach Pop has said that Duncan will play a lot of minutes, but in a jokingly manner.

Center

Tiago Splitter, SA ($9,898)

As mentioned above with Diaw, if Duncan sees lesser minutes the other big men get a boost for San Antonio. Splitter has gotten exponentially more minutes and production since he has returned from injury and tonight would be his first back-to-back since returning. Last night Splitter contributed 25.5 fantasy points in 34 minutes, and should he get those minutes against Brooklyn, he will repeat that performance.
