On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

Tonight in the NBA, there is a ten-game slate. Get your lineups in as soon as possible. Some big names playing tonight, get your values in.

Value Plays

Guard

Reggie Jackson, OKC ($9,835)

With Russell Westbrook out, Reggie Jackson has surfaced as the primary point guard, and distributor to one of the best offenses in the NBA. Coming off a 20 point, nine assist outburst, Jackson has the hot hand, and for under $10K, his value is among the best at guard tonight. The Thunder face off against the Orlando Magic, who allow just under 102 points per game, and are 25th in the NBA in turnovers. Jackson should reach great value at around 25 fantasy points.

Forward

Wesley Johnson, LAL ($8,349)

With seemingly the entire Lakers roster on the injury list, there is almost no way Johnson does not continue to see big minutes. In his last two games, Johnson has 58 fantasy points, and has played around 40 minutes in each game. At his salary, that is a steal. Not to mention, the Lakers face the Sixers tonight, in what could be one of the ugliest defensive basketball games of the season.

Center

Spencer Hawes, PHI ($12,865)

Hawes has a reputation of being a “soft” big man, but if there is any matchup for him to dominate in the paint, it is tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers and Robert Sacre. The Lakers have no one who can matchup with Hawes’ ability from mid range, and the Lakers rebounding percentage is outrageously bad, last in the NBA at 46.5 percent. Expect Hawes to have a double-double at least, and could be in line for a huge game. At just under $13K, great value is achieved at 30 fantasy points, which is more than obtainable tonight.

Optimized Lineup
