Daily Fantasy Basketball: DFS Value Plays and Lineup – February 11

On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

Today in the NBA, there is a seven-game slate. Get your lineups in as soon as possible. There is only a few days left until the All-Star break, so help your bankroll grow.

Value Plays

Guard

Trey Burke, UTAH ($7,793)

Burke has been struggling lately, but that may be a good thing for DFS players tonight as his price has gotten so low that he becomes a great play. Burke is the starting point guard, and one of the better scoring options on the Jazz. With the Jazz facing the Lakers tonight, Burke could be in for a huge game. Having the last two days off should clear Burke’s head, and he will come out firing against one of the NBA’s worst defensive teams.

Forward

Derrick Williams, SAC ($7,581)

In Williams’ last seven games, he is averaging 17 fantasy points. Should he reach his average tonight, that is still good value for the former Arizona Wildcat. The Kings take on the Cavaliers tonight, who have been struggling defensively this season giving up over 102 points per game. Williams should get his share of minutes tonight, and at $7.5K, there is not a much better option on DraftStreet.

Center

Enes Kanter, UTAH ($8,895)

Usually, I get burned with cheaper centers, but tonight Kanter faces off against the Lakers. If you have played daily fantasy basketball for a while, you know that the worst rebounding team is a gold mine for opposing big men. Kanter is the guy with the dream matchup tonight. With a double-double he will reach good value, and he should do so against a porous Laker team.
