Daily Fantasy Basketball: DraftStreet Value Plays and Lineup – March 12

On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

There is a 11-game slate today in the NBA. Get your lineups in as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

Ben McLemore SAC ($5,198)

McLemore was one of the values for last night, and did not reach expectations. But, tonight the Kings take on the woeful 76ers. With McLemore at just under $5.2K, anything over 12 fantasy points is good value. The 76ers present an easy task for the Kings, but likely won’t be a huge blowout, so McLemore will get his fair share of minutes.

Forward

Kyle Singler DET ($7,205)

Another guy repeating on the value list tonight is Kyle Singler. The difference between he and McLemore is the fact that Singler reached incredible value last night at 32.25 fantasy points at just $7.2K. Until Singler’s price rises on DraftStreet, you will be hard-pressed not to take him. The Pistons take on the Raptors tonight, who are good defensively but with Singler playing over 35 minutes per game, he is well worth it.

Center

Kyle O’Quinn ORL ($10,797)

O’Quinn has been a consistent statistical anomaly. This means that each and every night he is putting up well over a fantasy point per minute, which is hard to ignore. Should he ever play starter minutes, he would be an instant daily fantasy star. But since he plays second fiddle to Nikola Vucevic, he remains under the radar. The Magic take on the Denver Nuggets tonight, and O’Quinn can be expected to add his usual 20 fantasy points in 16 minutes. But, word is he could see an increase in playing time starting over Tobias Harris. Keep an eye on the Magic lineup, because if he does, that means an extra five or so minutes to accrue more points

Optimized Lineup

G – Terrence Ross TOR ($8,504)

G – Ray McCallum SAC ($7,043)

G – Ben McLemore SAC ($5,198)

F – Kyle Singler DET ($7,205)

F – Anthony Davis NO ($19,707)

F – LeBron James MIA ($22,602)

C – Kyle O’Quinn ORL ($10,797)

U – Chris Paul LAC ($18,276)

Good luck tonight, and be sure to check the starting lineups before tip to be aware of any changes.
