On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

There is just a three-game slate today in the NBA. Get your lineups in as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

Derek Fisher OKC ($5,864)

In just a three-game slate, it is a lot harder to find values at each position. Luckily for tonight, Derek Fisher plays against the Los Angeles Lakers. Fisher has been one of the better values in daily fantasy this year. At $5.8K, great value is around 17 fantasy points, which is highly attainable against a porous Lakers team. Fisher is averaging just under 12 fantasy points in his last seven games, but should increase that number tonight.

Forward

Caron Butler OKC ($6,834)

As mentioned above, the Thunder take on the Lakers tonight. Caron Butler could be the primary beneficiary of a Thunder blowout, and for that he is worth his tag of under $7K. If Butler can reach 20 fantasy points, that would be great value at the forward position and allow higher spending at other positions. Expect Butler to play 30 minutes tonight, and against the Lakers, that could yield big returns.

Center

Pero Antic ATL ($8,915)

Values at center are hard to come by in the first place, but on a short slate, it is near impossible. Pero Antic is the starter tonight for the Atlanta Hawks who take on one of the worst rebounding teams in the NBA, the Milwaukee Bucks. Expect a double-double from Antic, which is a lot considering the scarcity of centers tonight. At just under $9K great value would be 25 fantasy points or more, which could happen seeing as Antic’s minutes have increased in his last few games since returning from injury. Antic should be a high-volume play tonight, so do not miss out.

Optimized Lineup

G – Derek Fisher OKC ($5,864)

G – Russell Westbrook OKC ($19,134)

G – Jodie Meeks LAL ($10,570)

F – Serge Ibaka OKC ($15,430)

F – Caron Butler OKC ($6,834)

F – Wesley Johnson LAL ($9,263)

C – Pero Antic ATL ($8,915)

U – Kevin Durant OKC ($23,407)

Good luck tonight, and be sure to check the starting lineups before tip to be aware of any changes.
