Daily Fantasy Basketball: DraftStreet Value Picks and Lineup – April 25

On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

Welcome to NBA Daily Fantasy in the playoffs. The way it works is a two-day slate, giving each player an opportunity to play one game. For example, if the Spurs play on day X, and the Heat on day Y, both days are included in one salary game. Tonight is a seven-game slate. Set your lineups as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

D.J. Augustin CHI ($10,846)

Augustin has taken 53 shots so far in the playoffs, which is good for just under 18 per game. Now, for players taking that many shots, and being able to contribute in the assist department as well, you would normally have to pay over $14K. But as you can see, the former Texas Longhorn is at a low price of $10.8K. Great value for that salary is 26 fantasy points or more, which Augustin reached with ease in his last game against the Wizards. The Bulls are in a must-win situation, expect Augustin to be the focal point of the offense for the Bulls.

Forward

Dorell Wright POR ($6,484)

Wright was a pick from last night, but has not played his game for tonight. He is still a great value despite his $2K price hike overnight.

“At just $4.7K [$6.4K tonight], great value is anything above 14.5 [17] fantasy points. In his last game, Wright scored 31.5 fantasy points in a close game. This bodes well for his future minutes, and considering the production from Wright last night, he could do it again tomorrow night, this time at home. If Wright can continue to knock down three-pointers, he will keep finding his way onto the floor, and at this rate, who is slowing him down?”

Center

Kendrick Perkins OKC ($5,193)

Perkins continues to be amongst the lowest priced players, and his production has been exponential. So far in the postseason, Perkins has: four fantasy points, 11.5 fantasy points, and last night he had 21.25 fantasy points. In addition, his minutes have gone up from 16 to 27 to 34 in the last three games. It is safe to say he is going to contribute, and at just under $5.2K, that’s incredible value. Reaching 15 fantasy points would be very good value for his salary, but more than 15 can almost be expected at this point. Get him today before his price goes up tomorrow.

Optimized Lineup

G – Manu Ginobili SA ($10,539)

G – D.J. Augustin CHI ($10,846)

G – Damian Lillard POR ($14,989)

F – Dorell Wright POR ($6,484)

F – Taj Gibson CHI ($9,644)

F – LaMarcus Aldridge POR ($22,788)

C – Kendrick Perkins OKC ($5,193)

U – James Harden HOU ($19,211)

Good luck tonight, and be sure to check the starting lineups before tip to be aware of any changes.
