Daily Fantasy Basketball: DraftStreet Value Plays and Lineup – April 28

On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

Welcome to NBA Daily Fantasy in the playoffs. The way it works is a two-day slate, giving each player in the postseason an opportunity to play one game. For example, if the Spurs play on day X, and the Heat on day Y, both days are included in one salary game. So it is a six-game slate. Set your lineups as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

C.J. Watson IND ($6,676)

Watson’s price should have gone up a lot more than it did, which is great news for those who are punting guards. In his last three games, Watson has put out 18.75, 17, and 15.75 fantasy points. Each game he has reached at least 2.5 times his salary for good value and should do so again in game five. In each of the first four games, Watson’s shot total has increased. He is one of the better scoring options the Pacers have, and at $6.6K he may be one of the most valuable pieces on DraftStreet for tonight’s contests.

Forward

Trevor Ariza WAS ($12,862)

Ariza’s price is almost guaranteed to rise tomorrow, so get him into your two-day lineups tonight. His current price is not updated as it is still $12.8K. Ariza is averaging around 32 fantasy points per game in the playoffs so far and with just one more win separating the Wizards from the second round, Ariza will come out firing. In his last game, Ariza had 30 points and eight rebounds for a total of 40 fantasy points. Get him into your lineups for the last time before his salary increases dramatically.

Center

Kendrick Perkins OKC ($5,658)

Perkins may not be the sexiest option at center, but take a look at the optimized lineup below. That is why he is a selection here, because of the flexibility he offers to a daily fantasy lineup. In addition, Perkins has been very good for his price tag so far in the postseason. In his last three contests, Perkins has 43.75 fantasy points for an average of just under 15 fantasy points per game. At $5.6K, 15 fantasy points is great value and is an easy option for those who want a lot of cap space to use for the high-priced stars in the NBA. Get Perkins into your lineups and reap the benefits of lineup flexibility.

Optimized Lineup

G – C.J. Watson IND ($6,676)

G – Lou Williams ATL ($6,853)

G – Gary Neal CHA ($5,194)

F – LeBron James MIA ($21,817)

F – Kevin Durant OKC ($21,765)

F – Trevor Ariza WAS ($12,862)

C – Kendrick Perkins OKC ($5,658)

U – Paul George IND ($19,005)

Good luck tonight, and be sure to check the starting lineups before tip to be aware of any changes.
