On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

Welcome to NBA Daily Fantasy in the playoffs. The way it works is a two-day slate, giving each player in the postseason an opportunity to play one game. For example, if the Spurs play on day X, and the Heat on day Y, both days are included in one salary game. So it is a four-game slate. Set your lineups as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

Damian Lillard POR ($15,504)

Lillard was our value at guard for last night’s contest, and his price decreased for today’s contest, making him an even better value tonight. Here is yesterday’s excerpt:

“Lillard has been incredible so far this postseason in his first trip to the playoffs. He has averaged 23.3 points, 6.3 assists, and 5.6 rebounds per game to go along with a steal per contest. At $[15.5K], great value for him would be at [36] fantasy points, which he has reached four times this postseason, and just missing it two more times. Why pick him in tonight’s contest? The Trailblazers are facing elimination tomorrow night at home and Lillard is not about to let the Spurs celebrate on his home floor. Expect him to come out firing, and stretch this series to the fifth game.”

Forward

Mirza Teletovic BKN ($6,638)

Teletovic was our value at forward last night, but his price rose and his likelihood to reach great value has decreased. But, he still has a chance to reach good value, which is still valuable in a short playoff slate at a low price of $6.6K. Teletovic has 35 fantasy points in his last two games and he has averaged 16 points and four rebounds in the last two games. Teletovic was quoted in saying “Once I make one shot, then I know” talking about how his game will go for the given night. In the last two he has been hot, so add him despite his price hike. He is due for a lot of minutes because of his length and defensive ability, so he will not be taken off the court if he does not produce offensively.

Forward

Al Harrington, Washington Wizards ($2,000)

Yes, you read that correctly. Harrington’s price on DraftStreet is just $2K. He was priced at the bare minimum, but since he scored 21.5 fantasy points in 23 minutes last night, be sure to add him. Any fantasy points at all from Harrington is good value, because of the flexibility he adds. But seeing as the Wizards are giving him minutes, he is a must-play at the lowest price possible. Get him into your lineups, and watch how much cap room you have for the remainder of your team.

Optimized Lineup

G – Damian Lillard POR ($15,504)

G – Russell Westbrook OKC ($21,305)

G – Chris Paul LAC ($21,948)

F – Drew Gooden WAS ($5,629)

F – Al Harrington WAS ($2,000)

F – Mirza Teletovic BKN ($6,638)

C – Roy Hibbert IND ($11,397)

U – Tony Parker SA ($15,252)

Good luck tonight, and be sure to check the starting lineups before tip to be aware of any changes.
