Daily Fantasy Basketball: DraftStreet Value Plays and Lineup – May 29

On DraftStreet, there is a $100,000 cap, which is used for eight players; three forwards, three guards, a center, and a utility player. In terms of value, should a player cost $15,000, incredible value would be 45 fantasy points. Unlike other daily sites, playing for five times value is not the goal here, as it is nearly impossible to find on a consistent basis. As a $100K salary cap would yield about 225-255 fantasy points for a good night, the best value is normally 2.25 or higher. Anything above 2.25 is a great value.

If you have not played over at DraftStreet, be sure to check the scoring system first, as it varies from other sites. Head over to make your deposit and start playing tonight!

DraftStreet Scoring: PTS: 1 pt, REB: 1.25 pt, AST: 1.5 pt, TO: -1 pt, Missed FT: -0.5 pt, Missed FG: -0.5 pt, STL: 2 pt, BLK: 2pt.

Welcome to NBA Daily Fantasy in the playoffs. The way it works is a two-day slate, giving each player in the postseason an opportunity to play one game. For example, if the Spurs play on day X, and the Heat on day Y, both days are included in one salary game. So it is a TWO-game slate. Set your lineups as soon as possible.

Value Plays

Guard

Jeremy Lamb OKC ($3,824)

Lamb’s price rose by close to $1K since yesterday, but even at $3.8K, he is a value play tonight. Here is yesterday’s excerpt:

“Lamb has made our values for the third night in a row now, and until his price goes up, that will remain the status quo. At just under [$3.8K], excellent value is anything more than 12 fantasy points, which is a minuscule number. Lamb has over 40 fantasy points in his last three games, averaging just over 13 fantasy points per contest. Until his price goes up, or his production goes down, keep him in your lineups for such a low price.”

Forward

Boris Diaw SA ($8,902)

Diaw was our value last night at forward, and his price did not rise enough to take him out of value play consideration. Be sure to add him again tonight. Here is yesterday’s excerpt on Diaw:

“Diaw has been a pleasant surprise in daily fantasy of late, being one of the most productive forwards at under $10K. So far this series, he has scored 74 fantasy points in four games, which is good for just under 19 fantasy points per contest. In the last two games, Diaw is averaging 22.5 fantasy points per game, which is great value at his current price. There are not many options to choose from at forward, so add Diaw for some cheap points, which is rare at this point in the daily fantasy season.”

Center

Kendrick Perkins OKC ($4,519)

Perkins was our value at center last night, and his price actually dropped between days, so once again he is our value tonight. Here is yesterday’s excerpt:

“As you can tell, the theme for low-priced value players today is not just low-prices, but very safe plays at that price. In the playoffs, there are very few players who make an impact at such a low price, and that number is even lower at the center position. But for tonight’s contest, add Perkins to your lineup. At [$4.5K], great value can be had at anything above [12] fantasy points. Considering the scarcity at center, even two times salary is a good value at this point. Perkins scored 19 fantasy points in his last contest, and is looking to put together back-to-back games of success against the Spurs.”

Keep in mind, with these three in your lineup, paired with a few more low-priced players, you can add the three remaining fantasy superstars.

Optimized Lineup

G – Derek Fisher OKC ($3,685)

G – Jeremy Lamb OKC ($3,824)

G – Russell Westbrook OKC ($22,860)

F – LeBron James MIA ($24,800)

F – Kevin Durant OKC ($24,983)

F – Boris Diaw SA ($8,902)

C – Kendrick Perkins OKC ($4,519)

U – Norris Cole MIA ($5,770)

Good luck tonight, and be sure to check the starting lineups before tip to be aware of any changes.
