The NBA free-agent frenzy finally got going once LeBron James announced he was returning to Cleveland. Within hours, the rest of the league’s top free agents began to fall into place.

No. 2-ranked free agent Carmelo Anthony soon re-signed with the New York Knicks, then Chris Bosh followed suit and returned to the Miami Heat. Pau Gasol decided a Chicago Bulls jersey would fit well on him, and Paul Pierce decided to move onto the up-and-coming Washington Wizards on a two-year pact.
