Boston Red Sox – For a team not going anywhere, the Red Sox made a pair of moves that netted them players that will contribute on next year’s team. The Red Sox acquired Yoenis Cespedes, a right-handed hitter, who should have a good time with the Green Monster. They also acquired Allen Craig, who has a track record of big hits despite a down year this year. The Red Sox also needed pitching after trading 60 percent of their rotation and Joe Kelly once fully healthy could be a part of next year’s pitching mix. Additionally the Red Sox acquired highly regarded reliever Eduardo Rodriguez for Andrew Miller, who is a free agent. – Grade A
