Without further ado, Week 3 in college football.

RB – Dominique Brown, Louisville $5,700

Brown is one of those hidden gems that you will find when researching daily college fantasy football. Last week, he only carried the ball five times for 40 yards and a touchdown. That will scare some players away, but since Louisville was up big on Murray State, there was no need for Brown to play. He had 34 touches for 152 yards in his first game, and he will likely see that workload again this week against Virginia.

RB – Royce Freeman, Oregon $5,400

With Oregon taking on Wyoming this week, the Ducks could score 70 points, with ease. The Vegas line on the game is currently set at ORE – 43. Vegas has Oregon winning by six touchdowns. The scary part is, the Ducks could easily cover that spread. Freeman is a freshman running back that has 23 carries for 164 yards and four touchdowns on the season. He will unlikely see the field for the entire game, but with Thomas Tyner and Byron Marshall ahead of him, Freeman will see a lot of work, and enough to be worth his price of $5,400. Expect a big game from all the Oregon backs, but Freeman especially.

TE –  David Grinnage, NC State $2,500

At $2,500, a tight end is a bit of a boom or bust pick. But with that salary, low expectations but high reward could boost your lineup in cash games this week. Grinnage is the starting tight end for the Wolfpack, and is a mammoth of a human being at over six and a half feet tall and north of 260 pounds. He has four catches for 54 yards this season, but in early season tune-ups. This week, NC State will take on USF, who allowed Maryland to score two touchdowns through the air. Grinnage is a touchdown waiting to happen, so get him into your lineups for this weekend.

You may be wondering why the lineup seems out of order. The content below is the reason why. In addition to the three players listed above, the rest of the lineup consists of players from one game. A six-player stack from one game (three from each team) suggests that it will be a high-scoring game. The over/under in Vegas for this game is 66 points, but expect that to be higher with the offensive firepower that Arkansas and Texas Tech bring to the table. In addition, neither team’s defense is as talented as the other side of the field, so a shootout could be an understatement.

QB – Brandon Allen, Arkansas $5,200

QB – Davis Webb, Texas Tech $9,500

WR – Jakeem Grant, Texas Tech $6,000

WR – Bradley Marquez, Texas Tech $6,500

WR – Demetrius Morris, Arkansas $3,400

FLEX – Alex Collins, Arkansas $5,600

This stack contains the two quarterbacks, and each of their respective teams’ top two weapons on offense.

For Arkansas, Allen is joined by Demetrius Morris and running back Alex Collins. Morris is the top option in the Arkansas passing game (which has been extremely efficient this season with six touchdowns in 36 attempts) and Collins has 23 carries for 200 yards and three touchdowns this season in limited playing time due to the lack of competition.

For Texas Tech, starting quarterback Davis Webb is joined by his top two receivers in Bradley Marquez and Jakeem Grant. Those three have combined for around 170 fantasy points in just two games. With the three of them averaging around 80 fantasy points per game as a trio, the Texas Tech stack will be one of the premier strategies this weekend.
