Vikings Block a Punt, Score, Block Another Punt, Score Again

Everson Griffen

The punt. Arguably the most boring play in the NFL, seldom seen on the NFL Redzone channel.

For the Vikings, however, it’s basically become their primary source of points.

Up by a touchdown in the first quarter, Adam Thielen burst through the line, blocked the punt, and took it in himself for the score.

Vikes

In the second quarter, multiple Vikings broke through and blocked another punt attempt. This time, it was big man Everson Griffen recovering the ball and bringing it to the house.

Vikes2

If you decided to roll with the Vikings defense and special teams in your fantasy matchup this week, you’re in good shape.
