Week 6 Fantasy Football Defensive Matchup Exploitation: TE

Judging how good a defense really is against tight ends is tough since the good ones are far better than the average NFL tight end. With that in mind, I would start Rob Gronkowski (if he plays), Jordan Cameron, and Antonio Gates no matter how “unfavorable” their matchups may seem.

On the other hand, Mychal Rivera has a tough matchup and shouldn’t be a fantasy starter anyway. The Bills just kept Jordan Cameron to 36 yards so I wouldn’t chance it on Jermaine Gresham or Tyler Eifert.

Otherwise, the Jets tight ends, Heath Miller, and Garrett Graham are all startable.

While low point totals don’t always tell you everything, high point totals against tight ends say a lot. Vernon Davis, Greg Olsen, Zach Miller, Martellus Bennett, Jason Witten, Julius Thomas, and Coby Fleener are all liable to have big games this week.
